About
My Story
Emelie O’Hara’s acting journey began in preschool when she played the part of an elephant auditioning to be the topper for the Christmas tree in her school’s Christmas play. Since then, she has studied in America, Russia, and Ireland, in such mediums as film, television, Shakespeare, improv, musicals, and classical theater. She has performed from Los Angeles to New York, London to Moscow. A physically dynamic actor, she has immersed herself in armed and unarmed stage combat, trapeze, clowning, dance, Draznin, martial arts, yoga, gymnastics, weight-lifting, and various theatre movement techniques.
Since discovering Shakespeare at Theatricum Botanicum in 2012, Emelie has honed her passion and facility for the text through continuous and devoted study. Since 2019, she has been dedicated to professionally teaching and adjudicating Shakespeare, offering one-on-one coaching to actors seeking to deepen their craft. Emelie welcomes the chance to share her expertise and is currently accepting new students for personalized Shakespeare coaching.
